Riven: The Sequel to Myst (リヴン ザ シークェル トゥー ミスト or RIVEN THE SEQUEL TO MYST) is, as the name suggests, the sequel to the groundbreaking adventure game, Myst. Riven builds on the technologies seen in Myst, and after its initial PC release, the game was brought to the Sega Saturn in 1998 (though not in North America). Like its predecessor, the game is held back if the user does not have the Shuttle Mouse peripheral.
Interestingly, Enix published the game (at least in Japan). Sunsoft would typically handle publication of its own games, however this is an exception.
Riven: The Sequel to Myst is one of two Saturn games released in the west to be spread across four separate discs, the other being Panzer Dragoon Saga.
