Arc System Works Co., Ltd. (アークシステムワークス 株式会社), called just Arc until 1991, is a Japanese game developer. They primarily developed games for other companies before hitting it big on their own in the latter part of the 90s, and are now most known for the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series of fighting games. The company is also known for buying 100% of the rights of Nekketsu and Double Dragon franchises (originally from the defunct Technos Japan) in 2015.

Many of their newer games are released in partnership with Sega of Japan.
