Crypt Killer, known in Japan as Henry Explorers (ヘンリーエクスプローラーズ), is a Sega Saturn light gun game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and published by Konami. A port of the company's titular 1995 arcade game Crypt Killer, it was first released in Japan in March 1997[2], and was later brought to Europe and the United States in the following months.[8][4]

Versions
Crypt Killer was designed for Konami's GQ System arcade hardware, and is the only known game to be released for the platform. The GQ System is itself derived from the PlayStation, with additions to the audio capabilities and twice as much video RAM. Predictably, then, of the three home versions of the game, the PlayStation conversion is the most arcade accurate.
While there are some minor cosmetic changes, the major difference between the Saturn, PlayStation and PC lies in how the 3D geometry is drawn. On the Saturn, fewer polygons are drawn at any given time, and lower quality textures are used, however the PlayStation version lacks any form of in-game lighting, meaning geometry pop-in is far more obvious. This also means more of the level can be seen when travelling forwards, making it a slightly easier game.
The Saturn version benefits from shorter load times than its PlayStation counterpart, however both are beaten in this regard by the arcade version, which has no loading screens at all. Also while the arcade game supports three simultaneous players, all home versions drop this down to two.
