Level select
On the title screen, highlight Options and press and hold 
+

simultaneously. Once on the Options screen, release and , but keep held down. From here on, use to exit the Options screen (change settings first if necessary), start a 1P or 2P game, and select a warrior while is still held down.
Press , or to increment the stage number, then press START to begin the game from the selected stage.
