Sega Game Gear Tips Volume 2 is a VHS which contains tips and hints for various Sega Game Gear games. It was released as a promotional item by the Howard Johnson's hotel chain in the United States, and is a "successor" of sorts to Sega Game Gear Tips Volume 1.
Sega Game Gear Tips Volume 2 is virtually identical in structure to Sega Game Gear Tips Volume 1, however game footage is substituted for newer Game Gear releases. This time the video details tips and cheats for Cheese Cat-Astrophe Starring Speedy Gonzales, Phantom 2040, The Lion King, Taz in Escape From Mars and World Series Baseball '95, alongside more hints for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Sonic Triple Trouble. Previewed games include Sports Trivia: Championship Edition, Garfield: Caught in the Act and The Adventures of Batman & Robin.
The live action footage is identical to Sega Game Gear Tips Volume 1.
