Segoteka, sometimes known as Segateka, was the colloquial name of shops and clubs where people could buy, rent games, repair and play on Sega consoles, found commonly in Serbia, less usual in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina. These places were quite popular in the middle of the 1990s and until February 1996 there were 600 of them throughout the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. They were usually created in two ways - a separate department specializing in Sega was created in an existing company, or someone created a new company just to be Segateka.
