Prior to the formation of Suny, Ilan Ben-Dov had been importing Sega video game products since about 1987. Suny started as retailer of video games from Sega (Mega Drive, Game Gear), Nintendo (Super Nintendo, Game Boy) and Famiclones (Family Game, Goodboy, Micro Genius, BS 550, Hitex etc.).
