Skip level[1]
When the Data East logo appears, hold 
+
+ START on the second control pad until it disappears. If successful, you will be able to skip levels by pressing START on the second pad.
Invincibility
When the Data East logo appears, hold ++ START on the second control pad until it disappears. Go highlight sound test 21 in the options menu, hold 
+
+ on the second control pad, then press START on the first to return to the title screen.
Now during play, holding ++ on the second control pad and pausing with the first will turn on invincibility. This can be disabled by pausing normally.
