Condor

Condor was an American software developer, founded in 1993 by David Brevik, Erich Schaefer, and Max Schaefer.

The company was purchased and renamed to Blizzard North by Davidson & Associates in 1996[1], the owner of Blizzard Entertainment at the time, while they were working on the action role-playing game Diablo. The two companies had previously worked together on Justice League Task Force, which was originally developed by Condor for the Mega Drive but ported by Blizzard to the Super NES.

Diablo and its sequel Diablo II would be huge successes for the company. However, the company was eventually dissolved in 2005 by Vivendi, the new parent company of Blizzard and Blizzard North, following the departure of several key people and the reportedly poor development progress of Diablo III.
