Hironao Fukuda (福田 弘直) is a Japanese scriptwriter and plot director. He started his career Capcom, first as a game designer for the Monster Hunter series, then a scriptwriter on Ace Attorney 5, 6 and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve[1]. He then worked for Sega on several spin-offs in the Yakuza franchise (as well as an unreleased game[2]). He has also worked with Funplus, Gino and Nagoshi Studio on upcoming games (as of writing), and has given lectures at HAL Tokyo and Tokyo Design Technology Center about video game plots. He specializes in coming up with plots, rewriting scripts to have a stronger narrative, aiding people with writer's block and nurturing young writers.
