Ride secret bike
On the title screen hold

then press START to go to the main menu. When you start your next race you’ll be riding the secret 'Wild Thing 2000' bike.
Another method of getting the 'Wild Thing 2000' bike is through the Password screen; using the code "00DA 1V0N" unlocks it.
Ride any bike for free in single player mode
On the main menu, go to 'game options' and set 'player mode' to 'mano a mano' (the other settings do not matter). Select the bike you wish to use from the bike shop (all bikes are free in this mode). Now return to 'game options' and set the player mode to 'take turns', then change the player mode again to 'solo'. You will still be using the bike you previously chose, in the single player game.
