Star Trek II: In Search of Spock is an unreleased video game likely based on the then-upcoming Paramount Pictures film, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock[1]. It was announced at Winter CES 1983 but did not materialise.
It is not known why the game was titled Star Trek II instead of Star Trek III, especially when Sega also announced a Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan game at the same event.
