No Cliché
From Sega Retro
Adeline Software International and No Cliché are not the same company which got rebranded at some point like this article implies, they always were different companies which only shared the same development crew in different points of time. What Sega Europe did with Adeline was a development group purchase of all the staff of Adeline, which was then transfered/realocated to the new Sega owned No Cliché studio. But the Adeline studio and brand stayed within its parent company Delphine Software International, they even released the Sega Saturn version of Time Commando when all the former Adeline staff was already in No Cliché (development outsourced to Virtual Studio) and even surpassed the life cycle of No Cliché themselves, first as an empty group within Delphine (doing some legacy work like the aforementioned Sega Saturn release of Time Commando) and then as a short lived developer of Game Boy Advance games. So I think this article should be separated in two different ones, one for Adeline and the other for No Cliché. (Wesker (talk) 09:20, 22 January 2024 (EST))
