Link cable
For anyone researching the Zero Tolerance Link Cable (proper title pending), be aware that there's a "reproduction" link cable (or at least a reproduction housing). It's a modern 3D-printed thing, a small circular black disk with a Zero Tolerance-esque crosshair pattern. Very clean and awesome, but as I'm doing research, I'm seeing pictures of it marked as the ACTUAL link cable.
Keep in mind the actual cable features a big white box in the middle of it featuring the game's box art. Also, and somewhat notably, the Brazilian Tec Toy version seems to be the most common.
