Natsume (ナツメ) is the name of two companies: Japan-based Natsume Co., Ltd. and US-based Natsume Inc. Natsume Inc. was originally a subsidiary of Natsume Co., Ltd., but the two split in 1995. The company also operated a development subsidiary headquartered in Osaka, Osaka Natsume.[2]

In October 2013 the Japanese Natsume merged with the Japanese company Atari Inc. to form NatsumeAtari[1].
