An entry in the Make My Video series, the game features music videos from American house music group C+C Music Factory, and was released in the United States and Europe in late 1993.

During development, the game was known as simply C+C Music Factory, and like other Make My Video releases featured early box art showcasing artists C+C Music Factory themselves. However, the final product would feature different box art and an expanded title which relegated the artists to a featuring role.
