Crystal Dynamics is an American game developer founded by Madeline Canepa, Judy Lange, and Dave Morse as a spin-off from The 3DO Company in 1992.

After the commercial failure of 2003's Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, Crystal Dynamics replaced Core Design as the principal developer of the Tomb Raider series, and have since worked primarily on Tomb Raider games.
