Tecnosoft Co., Ltd., often known as Techno Soft and Tecno Soft was a Japanese video game development company, founded in the 1980s. It is best known for its Thunder Force series of games.
Tecnosoft was bought out by pachinko maker "Twenty-one Company" in 2001 and merged into their R&D division. Tecnosoft still own the rights to Thunder Force, but have no released a video game since after the merger. The 2008 Sony PlayStation 2 release of Thunder Force VI was licensed by Tecnosoft, but was developed and published by Sega.
