True Lies (トゥルーライズ) is a Sega Mega Drive and Sega Game Gear game based on the movie with the same name. Still shots from the movie are shown between stages. It's identical to the SNES version in terms of content. The game is played from a top down view, very similar to e.g. Techno Clash and takes a mission based approach: players have to find certain objects, defeat a certain enemy, flee from a section.... With a playthrough taking more than two hourse, it's extraordinary long considering the genre and time it was released in. Passwords are used to record progress. The six button controller is also supported.
The game has no score system and doesn't keep track of the play time.
