The game is played from a top down view, very similar to e.g. Techno Clash and takes a mission based approach: players have to find certain objects, defeat a certain enemy, flee from a section.... With a playthrough taking more than two hourse, it's extraordinary long considering the genre and time it was released in. Gore, another uncommon feature is also present in form of blood splats and death sequences. Passwords are used to record progress.
