The JC-100 is a cable sold by Sega for the SG-1000, which, when installed, allows the console to utilise alternative controllers to the built-in SJ-200 joystick which shipped with the console. It was designed primarily for the SJ-150 though is compatible with any two-button DE-9 pad that conforms to the Sega "standard". It also means that the controller cable is typically longer, so the system can be played from further away.
JC-100s are very rare and are only thought to have been sold in Japan.
