They were only sold through Agente Autorizado SEGA[1] stores (SEGA Authorized Agent/ Retailler, basically every Video Rental shop in Portugal signed contracts with Ecofilmes becoming authorized retaillers of SEGA products in the region) for a price of 590$00 Escudos (2.95€).
