PRS compression is a format used in numerous Sega games for the Sega Saturn and later consoles, as well as PC games. It is based on LZ77 compression with RLE emulation and extended matches. PRS archives have the extension .prs and can contain any file type.

A decompressor, written by Nemesis, will automatically unpack any PRS files in the working folder.
