Stage select
On the title screen, highlight "Start Game" and press 
. Headdy will say "Nice!" to confirm correct entry. Press START to access the stage select.
Character check
On the title screen, highlight "Options" and press . Headdy will say "Nice!" to confirm correct entry. Press START to access a screen used to test Headdy's animations.
Press or to cycle through Headdy's animations, hold and press or to cycle through Headdy's body and heads, hold to freeze the current animation, and press START to exit.
One-hit deaths
On the title screen, highlight "Start Game" and press , then hold + START and keep both buttons held until the Opening Demo begins. Headdy will instantly die in one hit from everything except bottomless pits.

Change the values at RAM addresses C51C and C522 to 01, then press START at the title screen.
