+ | What's the connection between this game and the Shaq album of the same(ish) name? I can't find many people linking them other than essentially what I've got written into the article; they were released a week and a half apart, and they were similarly-promoted. But what was this? Was this like- some like mid '90s media project or something? Is the game based off the album? Used to promote the album? Or vice versa? I think I can imagine a situation where Shaq had this kung fu album coming up and wanted a game to coincide with it, but I can also easily imagine one where just- the game was being turned into a fighting game and someone just came to the name Shaq Fu naturally? ("Its a Shaq fighting game." - "Fighting game, like those kung fu guys in the arcades?" - "Yeah like that. HEY, dude you just gave me the best idea for a name.") It's not overly important in the article's bigger picture, but it would help contextualize some things; notably where the name Shaq Fu derived from - album or game. Anyway :) [[User:CartridgeCulture|CartridgeCulture]] ([[User talk:CartridgeCulture|talk]]) 06:24, 29 October 2021 (EDT) |
