In Stage 6, the player is challenged by Timeron (a mini-boss from Black's stage) to see how long they can last against a seemingly-endless shower of homing bullets with a timer displayed on-screen. This challenge is completely optional and can be stopped at any time by shooting Timeron. However, if the player were to somehow survive for 100 in-game minutes, Timeron will give up and self-destruct, and a hidden message will be displayed on-screen.
