Buena Vista Interactive was a Glendale, California-based video game label and publisher closely associated with developer Disney Software.

History

Starting life as a rarely-used name for developer Disney Software, the brand appeared in 1988 playing the role of its occasional sub-label while not actually publishing any games of its own. It would not be until 2000 that the name would be reused to establish an actual publishing company, filling the same role it had previously.

On February 8, 2007, Buena Vista Interactive and Disney Interactive were consolidated to become Disney Interactive Studios.
