The Elitserien, currently known as the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), is a Swedish professional ice hockey league, notable for licensing its branding and associated teams to video game developer Neurostone for the production of the Swedish-exclusive Sega Mega Drive games Elitserien 95 and Elitserien 96.[1][2]
