Publisher Ming Super Chip Electronic released two version of Ya Se Chuan Shuo that only differ in the game's title screen: the "Imperial Dynasty" version, which displays the title screen's subtitle in Chinese, and the "The Story of Arthur" version, displaying the subtitle in English.

Despite a title screen credit to Taiwanese developer Chuanpu, development was outsourced to the closely-related Never Ending Soft.
