As with the previous year, only two officially licensed Dreamcast games were released in 2007: Warashi's Trigger Heart Exelica and Milestone Inc.'s Karous. After Karous's release, Sega stopped licensing Dreamcast games.
Unlicensed game development team NG:DEV.TEAM decided to celebrate the occasion with their own "last Dreamcast game," a port of their earlier Neo Geo game Last Hope — but this only caused the popularity of Dremacast homebrew to explode.
