Gunblade NY & LA Machineguns is a compilation for the Wii containing the 1995 Sega Model 2 game Gunblade NY and the 1998 Sega Model 3 game LA Machineguns, each adapted to use the Wii Remote. It was released in August 2010, and marks the first time these two games have been released on home consoles.
A soundtrack album was released the following year, Gunblade NY & L.A. Machineguns Original Soundtrack.
While the two games are reasonably close to their arcade counterparts, there have been a number of minor changes in regards to in-game advertising. In Gunblade NY for example, there banners for Coca-Cola, CSK, JVC and FujiFilm and adverts have been replaced with more generic variants, and a poster for Sonic and the Black Knight (for which eagle-eyed players will note was released in 2009, while the game takes place in 2005).
