Iron Helix is a first-person adventure game released for the Sega Mega-CD, Windows PCs and Macintosh computers. The Mega-CD version was released exclusively in North America.

Gameplay

Iron Helix is a slow-paced first-person adventure game with an element of strategy. The player controls a robot with the objective of stopping a rogue spaceship from being able to deploy the "Iron Helix" doomsday weapon. The robot is unarmed (save for a limited-used jamming signal used by pressing B), and is instead tasked with obtaining various items and eventually shutting the ship down. At the same time, a security drone hunts the player, though can only track doors that are opened or closed.

Most of the game is rendered as full motion video, with moving around the ship being simulated by pre-rendered footage in the top left of the screen.
