This short article is in need of work. You can help Sega Retro by adding to it .
Gun Frontier Arcade Gears (ガンフロンティア アーケードギアーズ) is a port of the 1990 arcade vertical shoot-'em-up, Gun Frontier to the Sega Saturn .
The game served as inspiration for the Battle Garegga , which was also ported to the system.
Versions
The game has been either deliberately modified or imperfectly ported. The scoring system is different from the arcade version, e.g. releasing flames on the mountains on the right side of the screen, just at the start of the game, plays a tune and adds bonus points. This if missing from the Saturn version.
