Onslaught is an unlicensed Sega Mega Drive action strategy simulation game developed by Nextgrand and published by Ballistic. A port of the titular 1989 Hewson Consultants game Onslaught, it was released exclusively in the United States and Europe in June 1991, and is most known for its extremely-low production values, and for being one of few commercially-released Sega Mega Drive games to fail the system's TradeMark Security System test (refusing to operate with anything but the earliest Mega Drive hardware.)

History
Upon realizing Onslaught was failing the TradeMark Security System test with newer Mega Drive systems, Ballistic quickly dropped the price and attached a warning sticker to the front of the game's box, noting that the game may not work with systems purchased after September 1, 1991.
