Battle Monsters (バトルモンスターズ) is a versus fighting game released exclusively for the Sega Saturn in 1995. It was developed by Naxat Soft and is very similar to Mortal Kombat, in that it uses digitised fighters and has an emphasis on violence. The characters in this game are an array of monsters from hell. The working title for the game was Van Battle.
