Kenji Matsumura (松村 健司) is a Japanese video game developer. He began his career at Overworks in 2000 as a gameplay tester. He made his debut as a game designer with Nightshade, developed by Sega WOW. He was one of the members of Sega WOW who then migrated to Global Entertainment R&D Dept. 3 to work on the Phantasy Star franchise, with Matsumura specifically designing quests.

Matsumura left Sega in 2009 to work at Cave[2]. Since 2012 he has worked at HINATA Inc.[2].
