Independence Day (often subtitled as Independence Day: The Game) is a 1997 Sega Saturn game based on the movie of the same name.
In the game, the player controls various aircraft who must engage in dogfights with aliens and take out the "primary weapons" of the alien motherships within a certain time. It was one of the first 3D shooters of this nature for home consoles, though, like the film, saw mixed reviews from critics.
