Sakura Taisen: Gouka Kenran (サクラ大戦 轟華絢爛) is the second OVA based on the Sakura Taisen franchise and sequel to Sakura Taisen: Ouka Kenran. When localised, this OVA is often known as Sakura Wars 2.
The OVA consists of six parts originally released simultanously on VHS, LaserDisc and DVD between December 1999 and 2000:
- New York no Ikareru Shikaku (紐育の怒れる刺客); (1999-12-18)[1]
- Mizu no Aru Machi (水のある都市); (2000-02-25)[2]
- Kinema no Kyoutendouchi (キネマの驚天動地); (2000-04-25)[3]
- Ninjou Kamishibai Shounen Red yo Eien ni (人情紙芝居・少年レッドよ永遠に); (2000-06-25)[4]
- Chichi to Ko to (父と娘と); (2000-09-25)[5]
- Onna-tachi no Ashita (女たちの新時代); (2000-12-21)[6]
However, newer releases generally favour combining all three parts onto one cassette or disc, or at the very least selling all six parts as a set.
