Infinite Space, called Mugen Kouro (無限航路 lit. "Infinite Routes") in Japan, is a role-playing game developed by Nude Maker and PlatinumGames and published by Sega for the Nintendo DS. The game was first announced in English with the title Infinite Line.[1]
Infinite Space is based in a science fiction setting, where the player controls and upgrades a spaceship. Battles with other ships take place in real time. There is an option for two-player battles through Wireless Communications (both players needs a copy of the game).
Infinite Space was both a commercial and critical success. It is considered one of finest and most successful DS games ever made.
Nearly 100 different crew members can be added to the fleet. Due to this, several parallelisms were drawn between Infinite Space and Suikoden series, which also has a large cast of playable characters.
