After doing some research for my term paper, I found this article (https://imgur.com/a/1qSHPH3) in some old newspapers thanks to newspapers.com. This article is from 1946 in December and as you can see, it claims that Service Games was started on the 1st day of September in that same year. Almost everywhere I checked, the claim was that the Service Games was started in 1945, not 1946. I know I am being very pedantic, but I do wish to know where does this information come from? -Konim96

:It was probably deduced... because if I remember correctly there wasn't any references to prove it... according with the 1964 [https://www.leagle.com/decision/1964195923latcm193611647 BROMLEY v. COMMISSIONER] case, "Standard Games of Hawaii" (Irving and Martin's former company) continued until 1945, at which time it was sold... there's also [http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pPOptIVkqlw/VVKca0EYJnI/AAAAAAAAEIU/C8asLamQOfM/s640/1949-04-02.PNG this ad] on April 2, 1949 issue of the Billboard magazine which proves that Service Games, Havaii had already been formed... so... congratulations... that's a great finding :) ... It was probably deduced... because if I remember correctly there wasn't any references to prove it... according with the 1964 BROMLEY v. COMMISSIONER case, "Standard Games of Hawaii" (Irving and Martin's former company) continued until 1945, at which time it was sold... there's also this ad on April 2, 1949 issue of the Billboard magazine which proves that Service Games, Havaii had already been formed... so... congratulations... that's a great finding :) ... In what newspaper did you found that article?...--Asagoth (talk) 13:02, 30 June 2019 (EDT)
