The Sega Park in Harlow, United Kingdom was an indoor Sega Park video arcade that opened in Late 1997. It was housed on the top floor of the Harvey Centre near the food court. The venue housed various different Video Games and also contained an area dedicated to redemption games. By the time the venue was sold to Leisure Exchange in 2000, the redemption games were replaced with the Sega Casino gambling area. This all led to the Sega Park's downfall, as the place became a hangout for chavs and teen gangs, who would eye the venue and hassle customers for their money. The troubles of this led to the venue closing in 2003. Leisure Exchange attempted to re-open Sega Park in the former Pizza Hut unit in the Harvey Centre, which failed.
The arcade's former unit is now split into a Subway, nail salon and various other outlets.
Games
Games such as Plasma Sword, Star Wars Racer Arcade, Virtua Fighter 3, Bust-A-Move 4, Silent Scope, Crazy Taxi, Cyber Troopers - Virtual On, L.A. Machineguns, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter and Motor Raid were housed at this venue.
