Dark Seed (ダークシード) is a 1992 PC adventure game ported to the Sega Saturn. It was followed by Dark Seed II. It was once set for release on the Sega Mega-CD in time for September[4], later Christmas 1994[5], but this plan was canceled.
The Saturn version of the game fails to take advantage of the wider colour palettes and otherwise superior graphical hardware of the system, instead looking almost identical to its earlier counterpart.
