:::You added an info about Saturn release in Gulf. I wonder if Alesayi United sold Asian Saturn, because date of published article indicates that this was before EU release (I have seen Euro version of Saturn with Alesayi sticker once). Sega in Morocco

Hey. I was browsing through your last edition and wanted to ask if Sega Dreamcast was in the European version in Morocco? And if you have more interesting information about Sega in Africa and in the Arab World, write this because unfortunately I can not find information about this region. Thanks for the help. - Lukdriver14

Generally, all North Africain countries have European Sega products, but in the Gulf I've seen both European and Japanese products. I'm always on the lookout for anything African/Arabic, but it's hard because of how little information exists, even in Arabic, and there's some things I found and didn't put in the wiki, but I'm going to do when I can. - Saad

It's good to know that North Africa had a European version. Some African countries like South Africa had Japanese and European consoles. One more thing I wanted to ask. Do you know what I write on this label?https://segaretro.org/File:SC3000_EG_Label.jpg - Lukdriver14

Can't help, sorry, I don't know anything about the Egyptian version of the SC-3000 - Saad

New Alaab Alcomputtar issue

So, due to some internet problems on my end, i can't upload some new issues that have been scanned by this account , if anyone can upload this , it will be great.

it does have watermarks and it seems to be missing 5 pages from the Mickey Mania section.

You have to ask Black Squirrel for it. Maybe he can help you.
If you be able to upload this new issue, can you put in the appropriate places the magazine articles, rating and ads from number 1 and the new ones?-Lukdriver14 (talk) 07:27, 28 June 2021 (EDT)
After a couple days of trying, i've got an opportunity to try and upload it from a different location that has better internet speed, so i might be able to do it myself thankfully. Thanks for your advice!
as for the ratings and ads and stuff, I'll start working on all the issues now! -Saad (talk) 12:37, 28 June 2021 (EDT)

Arabic

[1] Would you be able to translate it into English? This would be helpful on the issue of distribution in Egypt.-Lukdriver14 (talk) 08:54, 25 September 2021 (EDT)

it cuts off at the end so here's what i could translate:
"The frontrunners daring to provide the newest of everything
providing the best video games in the world
the result of advanced Japanese technology
the Sega Master System

...For a limited time only, buy a Sega console and get a year-long membership card for the Sega club for free, where you can borrow Sega cartridges.
for our Egyptian partners the... (it cuts off here)"
idk where to put this translation so i'll leave it here --Saad (talk)
Thanks, it turns out that this ad is also from Egypt. [2] -Lukdriver14 (talk) 03:08, 27 December 2021 (EST)

Magazine page numbers

Please avoid using "xx" for page numbers even if the page number is unknown. Certain templates (such as the ratings templates) can't read "xx" as a valid page number, which makes them unable to read any data after the invalid page number. If no page number can be specified, leave the page number blank or try using "1" as a placeholder. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 16:36, 15 November 2021 (EST)

Replaced all dates with "xx" with a placeholder (i think?), thanks for tip! --Saad (talk)

Distributors in the Middle East

Hey there, I just need clarification on this real quick. So far we have some info from all the least well known countries on SEGA, including. Do you know who the distributors for the competitors were (i.e., Nintendo, very little is known on their subject? -Rowdy

the current Nintendo distributors in the Middle East seem to be Active Boeki, Shas Samurai's (part of Active Boeki) website mentions both the wii and the ds.
Historically, there were many companies distributing nintendo consoles in the MENA region like Benfa in Morocco.
If i come across any other companies i'll mention em in here -Saad (talk)

Magazine articles

Is there a chance to add articles and ratings from "Alaab Alcomputtar" ? I would do it myself, but I don't understand anything from that, plus maybe there are some interesting news in magazine that I might skip. Geti3220 (talk) 17:12, 24 January 2024 (EST)
