The King of Fighters XI (ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ XI) is the eleventh main entry in the The King of Fighters series (and the first one to not be named after the year of release). It was published by Sega for Atomiswave arcade hardware in 2005.
The game would be ported to home consoles without Sega's involvement. Sega Logistics Service announced it would end service on the arcade machines on March 31, 2017.[1][2] In 2020, the Atomiswave version was hacked to make it playable on Dreamcast.[3]
