Daisuke Kubota (久保田 大介) is a former director at Sega of Japan. He was a prominent competitive player and fan of Sangokushi Taisen on its original release under the name of "mukku", which led to him being invited by Sega to start working on the series part-time by adjusting card abilities and balance.[1] He additionally contributed to versions of Sengoku Taisen. After five or six years he went full-time, and became a planner on Code of Joker. In 2017 he directed its mobile version Code of Joker Pocket.
