Mr. Incredible: Kyouteki Underminer Toujou (Mr.インクレディブル ~強敵アンダーマイナー登場~) is an action game developed by Helixe. Sega published the game in Japan - overseas versions were handled by THQ and titled The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer. The game that was based on The Incredibles movie was not released in Japan by Sega, but by D3 Publisher.

Story

The game's story starts when the first The Incredibles movie ends, as the Underminer drills out of the ground and declares his intention to rule the world. The Incredibles prepare to battle him when Frozone arrives. Mr. Incredible orders his family to take care of the Underminer's minions while he and Frozone defeat him.

Gameplay

Game Boy Advance version

Left and Right moves to the respective directions (press twice to do a dodge roll), A jumps (if the character is Frozone, hold the jump button to "fly"), B attacks, R uses the special move, L shifts between the characters and  START  pauses the game.

Nintendo DS version

Left and Right moves to the respective directions (press twice to do a dodge roll), A or L jumps (if the character is Frozone, hold the jump button to "fly"), B attacks, X uses the special move, R shifts between the characters (single-player only) and  START  pauses the game. Most of actions can also be done by using the touch screen.

Versions differences

  • The Game Boy Advance version is the only one that doesn't save (instead, it uses a password system), doesn't have multiplayer and use sprites instead of 3D models.
  • The Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo DS versions are the only ones that uses static images with text for the cutsscenes instead of in-game ones (like the GameCube and the PlayStation 2 vesions).
