Brian Lara Cricket 96 is the sequel to Brian Lara Cricket , developed by Audiogenic Software and Codemasters and released on the Sega Mega Drive exclusively in Europe in 1996. It was also released in Australia as Shane Warne Cricket , and was also bundled with some Mega Drives in the region.
Gameplay
Brian Lara Cricket 96 builds on the first Brian Lara Cricket , but adds a weatlth of new features including county cricket, world cup, international tests and historic matches to the game. There is also a new practice mode (complete with nets).
Rain makes an appearnce in Brian Lara Cricket 96 , which can both temporarily stop play and alter the conditions of the pitch, which in turn can adjust the physics of the ball.
