World Championship Soccer II is the sequel to World Championship Soccer and was released by Sega exclusively for the Sega Mega Drive in 1994. Unlike its prequel, the game was only released in Europe and North America.
Gameplay
World Championship Soccer II is almost an entirely different game compared to its predecessor. Rather than play from an overhead perspective the game opts for a sideways-on approach, and the pitch is notably smaller. There are more playable teams but is otherwise a very basic football game.
Teams
32 teams appear in World Championship Soccer II, compared to World Championship Soccer's 24. As with its predecessor only national teams are represented.
