Initial D: Arcade Stage (頭文字 D ARCADE STAGE) is an arcade racing game based on the Initial D franchise. It was the first in a long line of arcade racers to be published by Sega for Sega arcade platforms, this one seeing a 2002 release on Sega NAOMI 2 hardware. It was released in the US and Europe under the basic title of Initial D. This version was not ported to any home consoles. Sega Logistics Service announced it would end service on the machines on March 31, 2017.[2][3]
