Summer Games, known as Jogos Olímpicos in Brazil, is a sports game first released by Epyx in 1984. It was ported to the Sega Master System in 1991 and is the first in Epyx's Games series. Featured are a number of events similar to those seen in the Olympic Games.
A North American release was planned and advertised[7], but did not materialise.

Events
The original 1984 release of Summer Games contained eight events borrowed from the Olympic Games, however just as with its counterpart Winter Games, console conversions are known to have dropped events presumably due to storage concerns. On the Sega Master System, only five events exist in the game:
Pole vault | |
---|---|
100m dash | |
Gymnastics | |
Platform diving | |
100m freestyle | |
This means the 4x400m relay, freestyle relay and skeet shooting events have been axed.
Production credits
Whether or not the game has proper credits roll is unknown; this partial list is taken from an interview. In addition, Akashi said in the first interview that Zap may have been subcontracted by Kaga Electronics, parent company of naxat soft.
